Donor
Advised Funds
This
type of fund
provides a way for donors to make recommendations to the Foundation
concerning the distribution of the proceeds of the fund. There is a
great deal of flexibility with this kind of fund, depending on donor
needs and desires and whether the donor wants to submit a list of
recommended distributions on a regular basis or leave more discretion
to the Foundation Board. This may be ideal for a client who needs a
large tax deduction in a specific year with the opportunity to spread
disbursement to individual charities over several years.

of any size to a particular fund should be made payable to Shenandoah

line. Undesignated donations will be added to the Unrestricted
Endowment Fund. You also may start a fund of your own. For more
information on how to do that, go to Foundation
FAQs. |
