Field of Interest Funds 

Income from Field of Interest funds benefits a particular area specified by the donor, leaving discretion for particular charity to the Foundation Board. Examples might be “Affordable Housing” or “Early childhood education for at-risk youth.”

Field of Interest: Bipolar Disorder Education
Endowment for Environmental Conservation (2007)
Field of Interest: Environmental Conservation
Colton T. Lindamood Memorial Fund (2008)
Field of Interest: Agribusiness & Automechanics education at Central High School
Maryellen Ruddy Animals of the Valley Fund (2012) - Established to support charitable or government organizations that promote animal care and welfare in Shenandoah County and surrounding areas.

Donations of any size to a particular fund should be made payable to Shenandoah Community Foundation with the name of the specific fund in the memo line.
