Income
from Field of
Interest funds benefits a particular area specified by the donor,
leaving discretion for particular charity to the Foundation Board.
Examples might be “Affordable Housing” or “Early childhood education
for at-risk youth.”

of any size to a particular fund should be made payable to Shenandoah
Community Foundation with the name of the specific fund in the memo
line. Undesignated donations will be added to the Unrestricted
Endowment Fund. You also may start a fund of your own. For more
